Please allow approximately 40 minutes to 1.5 hours.

The time required to choose your kimono may vary from person to person.

We offer a wide variety of children's kimonos and are confident in both the quantity and quality of our collection.

We also receive new, larger-size kimonos for both men and women regularly, so please feel free to visit us with confidence.

Large-size zori sandals are also available.

We do not offer 1-hour or 2-hour rental courses.

For same-day returns, please return your kimono by 5:30 PM.

We also offer next-day returns at no additional charge.

You may return the kimono by 2:00 PM the following day, allowing you to enjoy festivals or nighttime strolls without worrying about the time.

You do not need to request the next-day return option in advance—you can decide on the day of rental. It’s perfect for those who want to enjoy Kyoto until late at night.

※ Please note that switching to next-day return after you have already departed is not allowed.

Please come to the shop on the day and choose your preferred plan after seeing the kimonos in person.

When making a reservation, simply let us know the total number of people and the number of men and women.

If you made your reservation through our website, please contact us via [Contact] → [Email Inquiry], and provide your reservation details along with the changes or cancellation request.

If you made your reservation by phone, please contact us directly at 075-384-3300.

For cancellations, please notify us by 4:00 PM the day before.

Same-day cancellations will incur a 3,300 yen fee, as our staff will already be on standby.

At Hanaha, you can enjoy our services with complete peace of mind — there are no extra charges beyond the plan fee.

Stylish accessories, lace items, and many popular photo props such as fox masks, fans, and wagasa umbrellas are all available for you to choose from free of charge. We offer everything at no additional cost.

All payments must be made at the store.

The following payment methods are accepted for purchases of kimono and traditional Japanese accessories, as well as for standard-priced kimono rental plans:

Cash / Credit Cards (Visa, Mastercard, JCB, etc.) / PayPal / QR Code Payments (Alipay, WeChat Pay, and PayPay)

Please note that all special-rate and discounted plans, including Couple, Family, School Trip, and Group Plans, are payable in cash only. Credit cards, PayPal, and QR code payments cannot be used for these plans.

We appreciate your understanding and cooperation.

No, we do not charge for minor stains or small tears.
